From the sidelines at Tamai Sports Programme, you will see grinning faces, laughter, energy, and sparks as Christchurch East tamariki take on the challenge of learning new skills and working as a team.
Tamai Sports is a non-profit community impact organisation which provides children aged 9-13 from the Tamai Learning Cluster in the Eastern suburbs of Christchurch, the opportunity to participate in sports.
Tamai Sports Programme removes all financial and logistical barriers for its participants by transporting them to and from training and games, feeding them, providing equipment and uniform, plus coaching and mentoring
Corcon sponsors this local charity to ignite opportunities and strengthen futures for healthier children and communities by removing socio-economic barriers to sports.
The programme carries no cost to tamariki, whānau, or the schools involved.
