Coresteel Buildings were appointed the commercial builders of Prebble Seeds' warehouse
In 2020, Prebble Seeds’ commercial lease was about to expire. The seeds-processing company needed to transition its Christchurch operations to a new, custom-built premise, pronto.
When Mackersy Property reached out on behalf of their tenant, Coresteel Buildings owner Stephen Fitzgerald knew this project was not a walk in the park. The client urgently needed a tailor-made warehouse, office, and showroom solution, but the severe time constraints posed a challenge.
Stephen quickly determined the client’s specific design requirements and translated those into a feasible action plan. Due to the scant leeway in the schedule, the design had to be 100% precise from the get-go!
Despite the shortened timetable, Coresteel Buildings designers swiftly and expertly engineered the steel structure in the innovative DonoBeam® steel system
Prebble Seeds was able to occupy its brand-new, purpose-built processing plant, office, and showroom before the deadline
